Fees, Insurance, and Billing
At TCI, we provide a Sliding Scale fee structure. Sliding scale refers to a more affordable, often times negotiated hourly rate for therapy sessions using a trained, supervised mental health professional who is working towards full licensure.
We understand that therapy is a financial commitment, but we pride ourselves on providing fairly priced therapy to everyone who desires.
We do not participate with any insurance panels & considered an out-of-network provider.
We can provide clients a billing statement at the end of each month to be submitted for reimbursement for clients with PPO, HSA, or other flexible benefits. I encourage all my clients to speak with their insurance company about reimbursement for some portion of therapy.
I accept the following forms of payment: cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, HSA cards
Failure to attend your scheduled therapy appointment without at least 24 hours advanced notice will result in the full session being billed
The law protects the relationship between a client & psychotherapist, & information cannot be disclosed without written permission. we will talk more about this in our sessions.
suspected child abuse, dependent adult or elder abuse, which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.
a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police & inform the intended victim.
if a client intends to harm him or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety
